We are in the process of repairing and expanding the Chipping Green. Due to very poor drainage on the west side of the green, it has always been difficult to maintain proper turf conditions. By expanding the green and altering the slope, we are hoping to improve the surface run-off. We have also thinned out the nearby trees to improve air movement and reduce the impact of shade. This area will remain as seen until we sod next week during our closure. This will allow give us a chance to eradicate any regrowth that may happen during this time.
